Decorating Ulster Terrace

Ulster Terrace is one of the smaller Nash terraces forming the southern arc of John Nash's magnificent Regent's Park development, completed in the 1820s as part of the Prince Regent's visionary transformation of the Marylebone Park estate. The terrace's stucco-faced classical facade, with its Ionic columns, balustraded parapet, and unified urban composition, exemplifies the Regency ideals of metropolitan grandeur that Nash brought to the park's perimeter. Listed at Grade I, Ulster Terrace is among the most architecturally distinguished addresses in London, overlooking the park's Inner Circle from its position on the Outer Circle.
