Decorating Bloomburg Street

Bloomburg Street is a short, quiet residential street in the heart of Pimlico, SW1V, tucked between Warwick Way and Hugh Street within the distinctive Pimlico grid laid out by Thomas Cubitt from the 1830s onwards. The properties are characteristic of the area's Regency and early-Victorian stucco terraces, presenting cream-rendered facades, first-floor balconettes with cast-iron railings, and generous sash windows arranged in a formal symmetrical composition. The street forms part of the Pimlico Conservation Area, which protects the Cubitt estate's grid as one of London's most coherent planned residential districts.
