Decorating Rosslyn Hill

Rosslyn Hill is one of the main approaches to Hampstead Village, climbing steeply from Belsize Park northward toward the High Street, and is lined with a rich mix of Victorian and Edwardian townhouses, mansion flats and converted chapels. The street contains several notable buildings including the striking Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel, and its varied architecture reflects the prosperous residential expansion of this part of north London in the late nineteenth century.
